Founding of the FoFF Alumni Enrichment Fund:
As a volunteer Foundation staff member for 15 years, Suzanne Louis was absolutely instrumental in helping found and build the Friends of Fulbright Finland community and the FoFF Council. Her role was also significant in helping our Foundation begin fundraising efforts in the U.S., and in founding the Friends of Fulbright Finland Alumni Enrichment Fund as well as the Fulbright Finland Centennial Fund.
Many alumni knew Suzanne personally and had met her in Helsinki or at the FoFF events in the U.S. In an interview published in the Fulbright Finland News magazine several years ago, Suzanne shared her thoughts about and experiences with FoFF and alumni engagement: www.bet2024.org/serve/supporting-international-change-makers.
Suzanne passed away in July 2020. Although Suzanne knew that she was seriously ill, she was dedicated to continuing her FoFF work as long and with as much vigor as she could. She said it brought her great joy to continue to meet and engage with alumni and to see the FoFF alumni community grow and develop. In her will, Suzanne left a significant gift to both the Centennial Fund and the Alumni Enrichment Fund of the 카지노사이트.
Suzanne left a permanent legacy and a call to action for all to passionately develop the Fulbright Finland alumni community. Let's continue her legacy!
